- Quarterly Log Market Report / Market Overview
Delivered log prices remained unchanged from last quarter. Cedar prices continue to remain strong and at one location increased to $1500/MBF. Buyers remain optimistic about the market however; it will depend on what happens with the Softwood Lumber Agreement. Resolution of this matter is expected in April or May. Spring breakup has arrived in most areas slowing logging and hauling operations. Most mills report adequate log inventories going into breakup. Pulp and tonwood prices remain unchanged.
